Kanoa FC outshines Paire FC in men’s soccer


Kanoa Football Club outshone Paire Football Club by defeating them, 3-1, last Sunday during the Marianas Soccer League Fall 2022 Division A game at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.

A case of mistaken identity caused a slip up as Paire’s Leith Poole scored in his team’s goal, to add a goal for Kanoa. Kanoa’s Andrew Omelau took advantage and scored one more goal for good measure and eventually defeated Paire.


TanHoldings FC 1, U17 NT 0 TanHoldings managed to put one up against the U17 NT, 1-0.

Ronnel Ocanada scored the lone goal. Chang Bai Hu 1, WNT Developmental Team 1 The Chang Bai Hu and WNT Developmental Team ended their game in a 1-1 draw in their Division B game.

Weiping Cheng scored for Chang Bai Hu and Jannah Casarino scored for the WNT team.


U17 NT 5, Eleven Tiger FC 1 In the week prior, the U17 NT team won against Eleven Tiger, 5-1.

Anthony Bergancia scored two goals, while Markus Toves, Jonne Navarro, and Mark Costales scored one goal each.

The lone goal from Eleven Tiger was made by Tanapon Unsa. Hana FC 4, WNT Developmental Team 0 TanHoldings FC 4, Paire 0 Hana Football Club and TanHoldings both silenced their opponents with mirrored results, 4-0.

Ace Lee was the ace player for Hana as he completed the hat-trick, with teammate Don Cabrera adding the fourth goal for their win against the WNT team.

TanHoldings’ Brandon Tenorio, Jireh Yobech, Taka Borja, and R.J. Narvaez made up the goals for the team. Matansa FC 3, Chang Bai Hu forfeit Matansa Football Club defeated Chang Bai Hu via forfeit.
