The NMIFA Youth League consists of the following age groups; U6, U8, U10, U12, U13, and U16. It is organized twice each year with games played on spring and fall seasons. NMIFA’s Youth League is sponsored by Take Care. Matches in the U8, U10, and U12 are classified as non-competitive level (developmental), while games in the U13 and U16 are under the competitive division, which awards champions for every season. The U6 age group, on the other hand, has activities that mirror grassroots football, focusing more on the fundamentals of the sport.
