What an incredible way to wrap up the LPK Cup 2025 with our NMI Women’s National Team’s 4-1 victory against Tuloy FC!
Our WNT faced an early hurdle, trailing after conceding the first goal. But they quickly bounced back, with Jannah Casarino converting a penalty to level the score at 1-1 by halftime.
In the second half, the team found their rhythm. Pia Ngewakl opened the floodgates with one goal, followed by another, giving us a comfortable 3-1 lead. Jannah Casarino sealed the game with her second goal, securing the 4-1 win!
This match is a testament to the progress our WNT made during this tournament and training camp. Competing against strong opponents, even in losses, has been important to our development, and our performance proved the benefits of that experience.
Following the match, TSL FC held a closing ceremony where three MVPs per team were recognized. The NMI MVPs for the tournament are Dianne Pablo, Kaithlyn Chavez, and Jannah Casarino!
