This is the foundation of Northern Mariana Islands Football Association’s program, encapsulating all non-elite, amateur level soccer across all ages.

 

The NMIFA’s grassroots program is focused on developing soccer through the introduction and promotion of the sport to the local community and its stakeholders and sharing its benefits, such as providing fun activities, achieving good health and well-being, building camaraderie and much more. Though majority of the demographic and priority are the children in the youth and school leagues, our grassroots program also caters to moms and adult players in the novice and intermediate divisions.

 

Our grassroots program also provides for a pathway for our talented soccer players who continue to seek improvement and accept challenges on their way to realizing their goal of representing the NMI National Teams, playing in the collegiate level or even reaching the elite, professional leagues.
