We held a send-off ceremony for our U20 Women’s National Team as they begin their preparations for the upcoming AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers.
Our WNT was joined by Lt. Governor Dennis Mendiola, President Jerry Tan, and NMIFA officials, along with family members, friends, and community supporters to celebrate our young athletes selected to represent the NMI.
Following the send-off, our WNT departed for their training camp in the Philippines. As part of their preparations, the team is scheduled to play training matches against Tuloy FC and Kaya FC.
They will then travel to Tashkent, Uzbekistan to compete in the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers, taking place from August 6–10, 2025.
The qualifiers feature 33 national teams divided into 8 groups, with NMI placed in Group G with Jordan, Bahrain, and host nation Uzbekistan.
