Congratulations to our U20 Women’s National Team and NMI Women’s National Team player Kaithlyn Chavez, honored at the 2025 Northern Marianas Sports Association Awards Banquet!
Our U20 Women’s National Team was nominated for the 2025 Team of the Year for their historic 3-0 win at the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers in a match against Bahrain, giving the NMI its first victory in an AFC tournament!
Kaithlyn Chavez was nominated for the 2025 Female Student Athlete of the Year, for her outstanding performance in athletics and football. In 2025, Kaithlyn earned multiple gold medals and set new NMI records in athletics. She was also the team captain of the U20 Women’s National Team, and scored the two goals in the NMI’s 3-0 win against Bahrain in the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers!
