We are excited to announce that the NMIFA is launching a new initiative called Healthy Play, Healthy Lives – a community-based initiative integrating soccer with Substance Use Disorder (SUDS) and Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) outreach, education, prevention, and treatment support – in partnership with the Opioid Proceeds Council!
Within this program, we will launch our Play Clean, Play Strong campaign that will promote public health awareness and help players and families understand substance use risks, prevent misuse, and support recovery in a safe space!
