Latte FC notches wins in TYSL
Latte Football Club notched wins in their respective divisions of the TakeCare Youth Soccer League Fall 2024 at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville last Saturday.
In the boys U14 division, they blanked Paire FC, 11-0.
It was goals galore as the Latte team dominated the pitch from the starting whistle. Five minutes in, Napu Pangelinan glided to the net to put them up quickly, 1-0. Pangelinan then went on an unstoppable tear and scored five more goals for Latte.
In between, Lionel Arceo and Alenjandro Morales scored one each. Then, Kian Estolas double dipped toward the end, with an additional goal by Jerz Navarro to complete Latte’s 11-goal unanswered run.
In the boys U12 division, they also beat Paire FC, 4-1.
The U12 Paire team also took a beating against Latte as they scored just a minute in by Edric Morales. Morales scored one more nine minutes later to put them up, 3-0, after an own goal by Paire in the third minute.
The last goal for Latte came in the 21st minute—which was more than enough to seal the win as Paire went on to score just one in the 37th.
In other results, the Women’s Development Team blanked Latte FC in the U17 boys division, 3-0, and MP United defeated Matansa FC, 2-0; in the girls U17 division, Kanoa FC overpowered Shirley’s FC, 7-1, and Paire and MP United FC ended in a 1-1 draw; Shirley’s outgoaled Kanoa FC 2, 3-1 in the U14 boys division; MP United ousted Matansa, 6-2; and Shirley’s and Latte ended in a 5-5 draw; in the U14 girls, MP United defeated Paire, 6-1; and in the U12 boys division, Shirley’s edged Latte, 3-1, and MP United shut down Matansa, 6-1.
