This week, our players explored how shot selection in soccer connects to real-life decision-making. Do you take the shot now or look for a better option? The best players understand that one choice can shape the next moment, even the outcome of the game.
During training, we focused on making smart decisions under pressure and recognizing the right moment or the path that is most likely to work – the same strategy they can apply when making decisions off the field!

The Play Smart, Live Strong initiative by the Northern Mariana Islands Football Association empowers our youth to make healthy choices on and off the field. Together with the Saipan Soccer School After School Program, we are using the power of soccer to promote substance-free lifestyles and reduce the risk factors related to underage drinking and marijuana use.
