When it was time to step onto the field, our Women’s National Team wore their colors with pride and embraced the opportunity to compete. Every sprint, tackle, pass, and challenge reflected their passion and commitment to one another as teammates.
Although the match ended in a 5–0 loss against Taipei, the score does not tell the full story of the team’s effort and heart. Our WNT battled from the opening whistle to the final minute. Our defensive unit worked tirelessly, forcing Taipei to earn every opportunity and making them work hard for every goal. Our players never stopped fighting.
Now, it is time to recover, regroup, and refocus. Our players will take the lessons learned from the match and prepare for the next challenge. The tournament is far from over, and the team is determined to continue improving with every opportunity they get!
