The team started the day early, preparing for an afternoon match under challenging conditions. The weather was hot, but our WNT were focused, determined, and ready to compete. Throughout the match, they worked tirelessly through the heat, showing tremendous resilience and commitment from the opening whistle to the final minute.
We had several positive moments on the field, including well-timed passes that helped build our attacking opportunities, positioning that limited our opposition’s chances, and just relentless effort in winning back possessions.
While the result was not what the team had hoped for, this experience will only make us stronger. We leave the field with an even greater motivation to improve.
Our NMI Women’s National Team played with heart. As this tournament comes to a close, the we hold our heads high and focus on the opportunities that lie ahead!
