Our first game was definitely a tough match for the team, ending in a 0-18 loss against Kyrgyz Republic. Our opponents demonstrated a higher level of technical precision, tactical awareness, and match experience that we simply couldn’t match yesterday.
It takes immense mental toughness to stay engaged and support one another in games like this, but our girls continued to display resilience and give maximum effort until the final whistle. This game is a massive learning opportunity rather than a setback.
As we prepare for our next match, trainings will focus on how we can rebuild our confidence and sharpen these technical gaps so we can come back stronger as a unit.
Our next match will undoubtedly be a greater challenge, facing host nation Vietnam. It is during moments of heavy defeat, rather than easy victories, that true character is built. As always, we are grateful for the support from everyone back home. Let’s come back stronger!
Biba NMI!
