We held a send-off ceremony for our U23 Men’s National Team as they prepare for the upcoming AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers.
Our MNT was joined by Lt. Governor Dennis Mendiola, President Jerry Tan, NMIFA officials, along with family, friends, and supporters who came together to show their encouragement for the players representing the NMI on the international stage.
Before heading into qualifiers, the team will first travel to Japan for a training camp in partnership with the Japan Football Association, where they will train and compete against local clubs as part of their preparations.
From there, our U23 MNT will continue on to Xi’an, China, where they will take on Australia, China, and Timor-Leste in their group stage matches of the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers.
This tournament will be a true test of skill, determination, and teamwork as our young athletes step onto one of Asia’s biggest stages.
