In this #MyPreventionStory, Livie & Venice show us how simple things like talking to someone you trust, doing what you love, and staying active can help you feel strong inside and out.

Players, taking care of your brain is one of the most important things you can do! It allows you to make smart choices, like saying no to things that can harm you, such as alcohol and marijuana.

Prevention means staying strong, happy, and healthy every day!

As part of the Play Smart, Live Strong program, the NMIFA celebrates National Prevention Week, an annual observance led by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation Community Guidance Center.

Communities and organizations across the country participate in National Prevention Week to raise awareness about substance misuse prevention and mental health promotion, while celebrating the impact of year-round prevention efforts.

During National Prevention Week and beyond, we are committed to preventing substance use and promoting well-being to keep our communities healthy and safe!
