In partnership with Badminton Oceania & Northern Marianas Badminton Association

As part of the Northern Mariana Islands Football Association’s Healthy Play, Healthy Lives Initiative, we were proud to partner with Badminton Oceania and Northern Marianas Badminton Association to deliver an Injury Prevention Workshop for 42 athletes and coaches during the hosting of this year’s BWF Grade 3 International Tournaments in Saipan.

Led by Australian Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist Pinakin Godse, the workshop equipped participants with practical knowledge on injury prevention, pain management, sports taping, recognizing common sporting injuries, and understanding when professional medical care is needed.

This workshop reflects our shared commitment to creating healthier, safer sporting environments. By giving athletes and coaches the tools to prevent injuries, manage recovery responsibly, and make informed health decisions, we’re strengthening the protective factors that keep our communities active, resilient, and free from substance misuse.

Together with the Opioid Proceeds Council, Badminton Oceania, and NMBA, we’re proving that sport is more than competition—it’s a platform for education, wellness, and lifelong healthy choices!
