Our Junior National Academy is holding tryouts for 2026-2027!
Tryouts Schedule:
- September 8 & 10, 2026
- 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- NMISTC, Koblerville
- Must attend both sessions
Eligibility:
- Born in 2014, 2015, or 2016
- U.S. Passport holder, born in the NMI, or green card holder
Students, tryouts are more than a chance to showcase your football skills, they’re an opportunity to learn how the choices you make off the field can impact your performance on it.
As part of the tryouts, participants will take part in a special Play Smart, Live Strong presentation focused on the effects of alcohol and marijuana on athletic performance, and how healthy, substance-free choices can help young athletes stay focused, perform at their best, and work toward their goals!

The Play Smart, Live Strong initiative by the Northern Mariana Islands Football Association empowers our youth to make healthy choices on and off the field. We are using the power of soccer to promote substance-free lifestyles and reduce the risk factors related to underage drinking and marijuana use.
